Winter sports and ski resorts in the Dolomites
In the winter season South Tyrol's mountains are transformed into a unique wintersports paradise.
The many popular ski resorts in the Dolomites attract skiers and wintersports enthusiasts from near and far.
The bus stops directly in front of our hotel in San Pietro/Laion and will take you to the tourist resort of Ortisei in Val Gardena. From there you can reach the Alpe di Siusi and the Seceda easily with state-of-the-art lifts. You can also access the Sella Ronda ski carousel.
Why not try sledging on prepared slopes or ice skating in Ortisei? The Raschötz sledging slope, which leads from the Alpe di Rasciesa to Ortisei, is only about 8 km away from our hotel. There are also a number of inviting sledging slopes on the Alpe di Siusi.
You can't miss a visit to the famous South Tyrolean Christmas markets in Chiusa, Ortisei, Bolzano and Bressanone. Experience pre-Christmas flair in a traditional alpine setting and get in the mood for the best festival of the year!

Local ski resorts: Dolomiti Superski, Val Gardena and Alpe di Siusi
Experience exciting ski runs on perfectly prepared slopes in the Dolomites: The Dolomiti Superski ski carousel is just a few kilometres from our hotel and offers 1200 km of slopes and more than 450 lifts. Ski safari: The ski school in Ortisei offers guided ski trips in cooperation with Lajen Tourism Association. We offer excursions with a ski instructor to the Marmolada, Lagazuoi, Sella Ronda and Alta Badia.

Over 60 km of prepared cross-country trails await you on the nearby Alpe di Siusi, Europe's largest alpine pasture, Monte Pana and in Vallunga. Cross-country skiing equipment can be rented on site at any time.
